In commemoration of the release of Total Chaos: The Art and Aesthetics of Hip-Hop, edited by Jeff Chang and published by Basic Civitas Books, the Bronx Museum invites Cristina VerĂ¡n, Rokafella, Kwikstep and Mark Anthony Neal for an informal conversation on the development of the hip-hop arts movement and its impact on mainstream culture. This dialogue will be moderated by Jeff Chang. A reception and book signing for Total Chaos will follow.

But in the wake of 9-11 and the Bush Adminstration's War Without End, does hip-hop really have the power to create change on the civic and federal level?"
